Become an Ambassador
An FEI Ambassador is a committed volunteer that helps the charity expand its reach and impact worldwide. FEI exists to create a world free from barriers, where people with facial differences are proud to be themselves.
Help lead the global movement for face equality.
This is a proactive, public-facing role best suited to people who are ready to engage their networks and communities, support fundraising activity, and champion face equality locally or globally.
Who our Ambassadors are
An FEI Ambassador is a public-facing, fundraising and awareness role designed to support FEI’s charitable objectives. Ambassadors are storytellers, advocates, connectors from across the globe, and most of all, fundraisers with lived experience!
What matters most is alignment with our mission, reliability, and willingness to actively contribute.
What Ambassadors do
- Share FEI campaigns and messaging
- Support or lead fundraising activity
- Participate in events, talks, or media opportunities
- Amplify Face Equality Week and key moments
- Introduce FEI to new supporters or partners
All Ambassadors receive onboarding, guidance, and clear boundaries — and are supported by FEI staff throughout.
How to apply to be an Ambassador
The Ambassador programme is relaunched annually through an open application process.

- Review period: 17 March – 7 April 2026
- Onboarding and training: 7-21 April 2026
- Public announcement: w/c 27 April
- Face Equality Week activities: 11-15 May 2026
Please note: this role includes a strong focus on fundraising and proactive engagement. If this isn’t right for you, there are many other ways to support FEI below.

At times, we offer project-based or skills-based volunteering, mentoring opportunities, or short-term support roles.
These are advertised periodically and designed to be flexible and accessible.

We recognise that not everyone has the capacity, networks, or circumstances to take on an Ambassador role — and that is absolutely okay. Every contribution matters.
Fundraise for Face Equality
You can support FEI by:
- Taking on a personal challenge
- Hosting a community or workplace fundraiser
- Running an online giving campaign
- Donating proceeds from creative or social projects
- Start a fundraiser
- Make a donation: regular or one-off donations help us plan ahead, respond to global needs, and continue our advocacy work.
Introduce Us to Your Workplace
- Corporate support plays a vital role in funding our work. You can help by:
- Referring FEI to your employer’s CSR or DEI team
- Introducing us to corporate partners or foundations
- Championing FEI’s workplace training or partnerships
- Refer a corporate contact

You don’t need a formal role to make an impact. You can:

- Talk about face equality in your community
